Aches from Shingrix arm vaccination, and from &#8216;sunburned&#8217; patches. And clearly running a fever. Woke up several times in spite of lorazapam, but got back to sleep and feel reasonably well rested. Still feel aches.. Going to take it pretty slow today, although perhaps a ride to Minihaha for dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Correspondence, &amp;c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Replied to Katherine Klink&#8217;s (geography) message. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responded to request for info for Sand and Sandstone Fieldtrip from Dave Wilhelm. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sent an &#8216;it&#8217;s been nice having you hear and best of luck note to Skye,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Queried EJ and LT re their feelings about reading <em>How to Read a Book<\/em> for the next book group. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finished review of HA&#8217;s Bee Journal article and sent that off to her. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wrote a note to Sasha, and mailed copy of Rice Alumni magazine off with it to RB. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ordered a pair of hiking shorts with multiple zip pockets from REI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Went over to K&amp;C&#8217;s to do second round of Kitty medication practice. That went well&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Piano lesson went OK but not wonderfully &#8212; finished a couple of pieces, although neither is perfect. I wasn&#8217;t as good about practicing the last few days &#8212; some combination of being busy, knowing that the next lesson was too close to really make big improvements, and feeling like I had a backlog of unexpected practice due to doing it while on vacation up north.<\/p>\n<p>Views: 11<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday 9 August 2019 Health Difficulty getting to sleep; took lorazapam about 11:30.
