During the most recent ‘essay chat’ with CT, the question came up of how many essays we’ve read.
By my count, which I’m sure is not entirely accurate, we’ve just finished our 250th essay. We skipped around in The Great English essays collection, and I may have failed to weed out some duplicates in counting essays in those books the we read unselectively, but I think this is pretty close.
This has been over a period of, I believe, about a year and a half: we started in the Fall of 2021 if I’m correct. The counts, should you be interested:
