Health
Difficulty getting to sleep; took lorazapam about 11:30. Aches from Shingrix arm vaccination, and from ‘sunburned’ patches. And clearly running a fever. Woke up several times in spite of lorazapam, but got back to sleep and feel reasonably well rested. Still feel aches.. Going to take it pretty slow today, although perhaps a ride to Minihaha for dinner.
Correspondence, &c
- Replied to Katherine Klink’s (geography) message.
- Responded to request for info for Sand and Sandstone Fieldtrip from Dave Wilhelm.
- Sent an ‘it’s been nice having you hear and best of luck note to Skye,
- Queried EJ and LT re their feelings about reading How to Read a Book for the next book group.
- Finished review of HA’s Bee Journal article and sent that off to her.
- Wrote a note to Sasha, and mailed copy of Rice Alumni magazine off with it to RB.
- Ordered a pair of hiking shorts with multiple zip pockets from REI
Went over to K&C’s to do second round of Kitty medication practice. That went well…
Piano lesson went OK but not wonderfully — finished a couple of pieces, although neither is perfect. I wasn’t as good about practicing the last few days — some combination of being busy, knowing that the next lesson was too close to really make big improvements, and feeling like I had a backlog of unexpected practice due to doing it while on vacation up north.
